ABSENCE MANAGEMENT: A ROADMAP TO IMPROVING EMPLOYEE WELLBEING

Plan Sponsors have made massive investments in their employee benefit programs in recent years to support the Physical, Mental and Financial Health of plan members. Yet, Mental Health and Financial Stress Indexes continue to demonstrate that the overall wellbeing of the working population has not improved. There are a number of dynamics that are contributing to the situation including an unstable global economy, evolving workforce demographics and shifting employment preferences. Plan sponsors are striving to enhance the health of plan members which in turn should lead to higher productivity and reductions in the prevalence and duration of employee absences.

In this session, we will review the different strategic and tactical actions that plan sponsors may take to maximize their investments in employee benefit programs and improve their absence management protocols.

Speaker: Massimo Nini, Vice President, Consulting and Underwriting, AGA Benefit Solutions

Following the speaker sessions, we will have a panel discussion with the presenters addressing live audience questions.
