Veteran finance leader to oversee IT integration
La Caisse has appointed Emmanuelle Leclerc-Granger as executive vice-president and chief financial and information officer, the investment group announced Thursday.
Leclerc-Granger, who has served as chief financial officer of the Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group since 2021, will assume her new role on April 13. She will sit on La Caisse’s executive committee and report directly to president and chief executive officer Charles Emond.
In her new position, Leclerc-Granger will oversee two functions: finance – which encompasses financial planning, governance and operations, corporate accounting, performance evaluation, taxation, procurement, and banking relationships – and information technology, which covers platforms, systems, and information security.
Emond praised Leclerc-Granger’s leadership record across periods of organizational change.
“Emmanuelle is a seasoned professional, recognized for her ability to rally her teams during periods of transformation,” Emond said. “In a continuously evolving environment, especially influenced by technological developments and their impact on how we operate, her corporate experience and strategic mindset will help advance our practices and support our organization’s long-term performance.”
According to a news release, Leclerc-Granger brings two decades of experience in global organizations. During her tenure at Cirque du Soleil, she held responsibility for global financial management, international taxation, treasury, information technology, strategic planning, and investor communications.
Before joining Cirque du Soleil in 2016, she spent 10 years at KPMG, where she worked in audit and financial services with multinational clients.
Leclerc-Granger said she looks forward to deepening the organization’s finance and IT capabilities.
“La Caisse stands apart for its ambition, its impact, and the quality of its teams,” she said. “I look forward to working closely with all groups on advancing our strategy and pursuing the transformation of the finance and IT operations into true drivers of performance and decision-making.”
La Caisse, formerly known as CDPQ, reported net assets of $517 billion as of Dec. 31, 2025.
