BlackBerry Radar and Max-Atlas boost logistics ROI with new partnership

BlackBerry Limited and Max-Atlas have entered into a three-year cooperative agreement to integrate BlackBerry Radar® asset tracking and monitoring technologies into Max-Atlas' range of intermodal container chassis during the manufacturing process, as announced on Newswire Canada.

This partnership between the two Canadian industry leaders aims to enhance the return on investment (ROI) for supply chain logistics companies by providing them with valuable insights into the operational performance of their assets.

BlackBerry Radar is designed to offer intelligent insights into asset utilization, improving operational efficiencies and customer service for logistics organizations. The devices are rugged, require low maintenance, and come with batteries that last up to five years or more.

By installing these devices on Max-Atlas' high-quality engineered chassis, customers will gain access to crucial data on asset location, utilization, performance, safety, and security. This information is critical for achieving maximum ROI for supply chain and logistics operators.

Christopher Plaat, SVP, and general manager at BlackBerry Radar, expressed excitement about the collaboration, highlighting the synergy between the two class-leading Canadian companies in the logistics market.

He emphasized the benefits of having BlackBerry Radar installed during the production process of Max-Atlas chassis, enabling customers to optimize, secure, and track their new assets from the outset.

Stéphane Guérin, president and CEO at Max-Atlas, also commented on the partnership, aligning it with their vision of bringing innovative solutions to their customers.

He pointed out the logical step of enhancing their intermodal container chassis with pre-installed, best-in-class telematics from BlackBerry Radar, anticipating the delivery of significant value to mutual customers.
